You Should Be Proud, Momma. Yes, I’m talking to you… Even if you pee standing up.

Dear Friend,

Whether you have children, pets, plants or none of the  above, you deserve to be recognized for being the Momma that you are! When I think of all the people in my past (both male & female), who nurtured me along the way to embrace my uniqueness rather than ‘fit in’, who gently encouraged me to explore my gifts and pursue my dreams… well I wish them ALL a HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY as each has contributed to the woman I’ve become, and therefore each deserves a shout-out for every dream I’ve ever accomplished, (which thankfully has been many), and for every pleasure I’ve personally had in nurturing the life of another.

Every new idea, whether practical or whimsical… every piece of music or poetry, every work of art, every single solution…not to mention every BEING… becomes manifest through us via the Divine Feminine expressing in/as each of us.  Without this Divine nurturing ‘Mother’ in all of us, life would be without inspiration. It would be all straight lines, colorless, and flat.

So on this day, I’d like to first acknowledge you for every single time you have nurtured the Divine Feminine within you by trusting in both your inner sense and trusting in the Universe. I’d also like to acknowledge you for every single time you gently picked yourself back up… and just as importantly, I’d like to acknowledge you for every single time you have comforted and nurtured the Spirit of another. We are each works of art… holy, and wholly precious… and the more we nurture ourselves and our dreams, the easier it is to nurture the dreams of another. (For many this is the other way around… so please, do both as we are ALL FAMILY)!

Acknowledge your own inner Divine Feminine. Honor her wisdom, allow her to nourish and nurture you by listening to your inner sense, by trusting and then allowing your Divine Masculine to ACT on your inspiration with the powerful energies of will, courage and strength. When you embody your Divine Feminine in all of her glorious curves (both in body and in life), YOUR life will FLOW with beauty, creativity and grace…. whether you wear a flowing flowery dress or pee standing up.

Here’s to you, Proud Momma.

I can’t end this without giving a shout-out to my own mother. My dedication to her in the LBOL says it all:

“To my mother, who carried me through my childhood with her Light, a Light more brilliant than the sun… and who ushered me into adulthood with the awareness that the Light I saw in her was a reflection of the Light in me.”  Thank you mom, I love you.

  1. Love how you brought in the power the masculine to act.. wonderful to see how the two energies compliment each other for those that pee sitting down and standing up! x but you do know there are those men who like to sit to pee!! HA HA x

  3. Love how you phrase your invitation to both men and women – as we are both yin and yang and men too have their feminine side… The Divine Feminine is such a powerful creative force – nice to see it included in Mother’s Day – after all – Earth Momma is also our mother – as is the Great Feminine Goddess – however you see her. Happy Mom’s Day for all the nurturing you share with all of us. Love, Cheryl
